Why have a digital photo frame?
You will find one of these useful if you have a digital camera but hate
printing out images. If you take a picture and think how nice it is, you
might want to see how it looks in a frame. Printing out all your favourite
photos gets expensive when you're printing big images so a digital frame
saves you money and effort. The photos look just like they look when you
put them on your computer - which is simple. When you have a flash card
you put pictures on it and load it into the frame and it's done.
If you've got photos of grandchildren being sent you all the time you
can keep adding photos and display them all on a rotation.
You can have one even if you've not got a computer as long as you've got someone to help you put the images on - so you can give one as a gift and preload it with lots of images of the family!
Some allow wireless connection to upload photos - which can be done from a computer or your phone.

Power can be battery or mains, look for rechargable batteries as these are better for the environment!

What is a digital photo frame? It's a clever gadget that allows you to put your digital photos out on display without printing them. It's a mini screen designed to look like a picture frame with a device for storing photos. Some take flash memory so you can just put your memory card into the frame.

What Photo Formats? The most common one is JPEG
Flash Types MMC\SD\MS Card - look for a wide choice or a specific card
Maximum Resolution Support - the bigger the better the pictures
Music Visualisation - will it play music as it displays.
Many frame allow you to view slideshows of images.
